‘Ello!

‘Ello from the UK! We’re back across the pond, starting in Edinburgh this time. We’ve been here just over four weeks and are stilling settling into a more normal life. And by normal, I mean not acting like we’re in full vacation mode every day which is hard to do in this beautiful city.

Most of you know we made the decision last year to move back to the UK, splitting our time between here and the US when Zac was offered a new role on his company’s UK team. After a two and a half year stint back in Denver, we realized we missed the lifestyle we’d created here and wanted the flexibility to be wherever it is we felt like we need to be at the time.

I knew right away that I wanted to try another town this time, specifically Edinburgh. I’d fallen in love with the city over the many times I’d visited and just felt like it would be a good fit. Brighton was such an adventure for three years, its quirky charm and seaside beauty the perfect introduction to a new country. Now it’s time to try somewhere new.

This blog is something I started five years ago, with the intention of capturing our adventures the first time around; but, life got in the way and learning new technology is tedious (yes, I’m saying that as an almost 35 year old) so I just…didn’t. Let’s try this again, shall we?
